Trusttheevidence.net was formed by two friends who first met at Medical School in Oxford. During PhDs at the OXVASC research programme, they revisited their shared interest in health research and its impact on clinical care. The ideas for this blog were first mooted over a few pints of ale in the public houses of the golden triangle (see Google map below). Research that matters should be transmitted to and understood by a wider audience. We feel this is a neglected area.
Our blog sources up-to date relevant material from multiple sources of evidence as well as horizon scanning for information likely to change practice today. We would appreciate your comments, and if you can recognize all three pubs in the golden triangle, we may see you at our next meeting
